Introduced in December 1927, the Model A was an immediate hit. It was an entirely new car, replacing the venerable Model T, and crowds gathered in such numbers that many cities sent police to direct traffic around those who lined up to see the new Ford.
This fantastic Model A Popcorn Wagon is finished in red with white pinstriping and features signage advertising freshly seasoned popcorn, ice cream, and peanuts. Additionally, the truck features the mark of C. Cretors and Company, a popular Chicago-based manufacturer of popcorn machines. The truck’s interior still features Cretors antique popcorn-production equipment and a charismatic patina throughout. A rare find, this Popcorn Wagon is sure to delight snack-lovers and antique automobile aficionados alike.
